When is the Best Time to Schedule Maternity Photos?
As a Wilmington, NC maternity photographer, I often have clients reaching out asking, “When is the best time to schedule maternity photos?” I have found the sweet spot for scheduling maternity photos is between 30-34 weeks pregnant when you have a nice round bump, but aren’t too far along in your pregnancy where you are starting to feel uncomfortable or swollen or even risk waiting to long and baby arriving early. With twins, the best time to schedule maternity photos is earlier on between 26-28 weeks pregnant.
Start Planning Early
It’s never too late to reach out to schedule maternity portraits! The best photographers book up quickly, so it’s important to start planning your portraits early. We are often booked months in advance. Often times, I am one of the first to know of client’s pregnancies even before friends and family! They are so excited to document this special chapter in their lives and want to ensure they are able to reserve a date!
