I love shooting family photography in San Marcos! I have a favorite location that gives me all the best lighting and natural beauty of north county. It was a beautiful summer evening, the epitome of summer in San Diego. And with fall just around the corner, I love to see the changing colors in the grass and trees hinting at cooler weather. This session was one of my favs, because of this sweet little one year old. She had such a spunky personality!

Capturing Your Child’s Personality On Camera

This darling family just finished the Collective Membership Program. We captured their maternity, their daughter Olivia’s newborn portraits, and one year milestone! During our consult mom said she’d love to get some of her daughter’s fun faces. Your little ones have such big personalities, and it’s part of their childhood to be stubborn, silly, sweet, and wild. What better way to capture their character than to snap pictures of them simply being themselves! Her parents were worried she was too fussy that day, and that we wouldn’t capture any good shots of her happy. Olivia is a social butterfly and loves to make people laugh – I thought she was a doll! Funny how that perspective is on the other side of the camera.
