The Vulakh Family
I took this sweet family’s beach portraits at Carlsbad Beach a few weeks ago. Full of smiles and fun, we had a great time capturing memories of their twins and the rest of the family at sunset! They recently moved here from Northern California. Mom told me when we first chatted on the phone that they have family portraits taken every year, which I absolutely LOVE! It’s so important documenting your family as they grow every year and through each and every beautiful season of life, not just during those younger years when they are babies and toddlers.
Precious Family Memories
Grandma was there for the session too! I love when grandparents join to capture a few precious moments. These are the images you will forever cherish once everyone is grown! So glad that we had a chance to include one of their grandparents in these.
San Diego Beach Portraits
This beach is a rare hidden gem in San Diego, perfect for beach portraits! The soft greenery along the sea-weathered rope pathway to the water reminds me of beaches back home on the East Coast. White sands and a dusty pink sunset acted as the perfect backdrop for our photo session. As San Diego settles into late Fall, we got that last breath of warm salty air as the evening turned to dusk. I love that we can still wear shorts and tees to the beaches in San Diego through November!
Twin Sibling Love
These twin siblings are so sweet together, you can totally tell they can find humor and laughter everywhere they go. We had several fun “bloopers” where one sibling (or parent!) photobombed the other, or where they made silly faces to the camera. I loved capturing that unique brother/sister bond they share! It makes portrait sessions SO much fun when families let loose in front of the camera. They always turn out with such fun photos made of wonderful, happy memories.
