This was our 6th year hosting the annual Motherhood Event! With the pandemic, it threw things through quite a loop this year. We had to postpone the event to a later date and brainstorm ways to still make it a beautiful and fun event for mamas, but also safe. I am so grateful for my client’s patience, understanding, and flexibility during these uncertain times.
Celebrating and Capturing the Beauty of Motherhood
While things looked much different than they have in years passed at the the Motherhood Event, it still turned out to be lovelier than ever! We were dedicated to celebrating and capturing the beauty of motherhood despite the circumstances.
As always, the health and safety of our clients is a top priority. We implemented safety measures to protect our littlest clients and their families. It went from a two day event to a four day event to space out the appointments and have adequate time in between sessions to safely sanitize. We also photographed every single piece of wardrobe and sent out a wardrobe gallery to mamas prior to the event, so they could choose their wardrobe selections and were only allowed to be used by one client before being washed/dry cleaned. We had wardrobe ready and waiting for clients once they arrived. We also offered an outdoor options for those who preferred that over indoors.
Pampering for Mamas
We had 34 beautiful mamas participate this year! I love that so many mamas make this an annual event. This year, we had a beautiful floral design by Kendra’s Florals in lieu of flower crowns and I couldn’t be happier with how stunning it turned out!Blush & Adore, Emily Mejia Make-up, and Unique and Flawless came out to pamper our mamas with petite hair and make up, adding to the luxury portrait experience that I love to treat all of my clients to.
