Welcoming a new baby into your hearts and home is one of the most joyous occasions of your life. I am not sure many things can top it. You have just endured 9 months of waiting and preparing. You have spent hours upon hours choosing a nursery theme and making sure every little detail is perfect. You have meticulously hung and folded your new love’s tiny little clothes, still unable to comprehend how your new baby will possibly be so tiny to fit in them (while at the same time hoping they are, in fact, much smaller because they do need an exit plan).

And then, the time finally arrives. Time stands still, even if for a brief moment, when you hold your tiny new love in your arms for the first time. All of the waiting and preparing was for this one moment. Nothing else in the world matters because your heart is complete. I strive to capture your newborn just as he was in those first days and weeks of life. Sleepy smiles, curled toes, tiny stretches, and the awe you have for your new baby. The essence of the newborn phase that is gone in a blink of an eye. One of the reasons that I come to your home for newborn sessions is so that I can capture all the work and dedication you put into making your baby’s perfect nursery. The sweet memories of your baby, in the space you created for him, will be forever remembered.
