Be still my heart. My baby boys are growing and they are growing SO fast! I cannot believe my baby boy will is TWO today and my oldest will be FOUR in just a few short weeks! I know everybody says it, but it goes by SO incredibly fast.
If there was ever a moment in time I wish I could push pause, it would be now.
Words can’t describe how priceless photos are that capture and memorialize the essence of how fun-loving, silly, affectionate, happy, and down-right beautiful our little boys are! Aiden is growing into the smartest, sweetest, most affectionate little guy, and the best big brother. He has a love for animals, dinos, the outdoors, adventures, and watching things grow. He has the wildest imagination and loves to make up stories, songs, and of course he knows “everything in the world”. He is the perfect balance of playfulness, rough, and affectionate. One minute he is wrestling me and shoving me to the ground and rawring in his dino voice and the next saying “mama I love you so much, and can you snuggle me?” Everytime his daddy or I leave the house, he runs after us and asks for a “hug and kiss” multiple times before we make it out the door.
Gray is mischievous, silly, spunky, fun-loving, and so full of energy. He loves firetrucks, garbage trucks, planes. riding his scooter, and being outdoors. He’s a mamas boy to his core and I hope he always stays that way. I could tell the moment he was born, he would be my wild child 🙂 He adores his big brother and repeats almost everything he says and does. It melts my heart to watch their bond grow stronger everyday.
As much as I love and adore watching them grow into little people, I am having a really hard time with Gray turning two. My baby boy is no longer a baby and that makes me sad. I think it’s because I know he will most likely be my last (Unless I win out of course ;)). I said I would wean him by two, but he is still nursing. I don’t know if I am quite ready to give it up. It’s almost as if I am trying to hold onto him being a baby for as long as I can. Once he’s done nursing, it signifies to me that he truly is no longer a baby.
I couldn’t be more blessed to be their mama! May there future always be as innocent, loving, and happy as their present is. Now only if time could just slow down….
